Those of us who where aware of this game, have been waiting for a ill minute. By ill minute I really mean a ILL MINUTE. This game has been in the works for 12 years... let that marinate for a minute...

12 fucking years...

Okay yea, so those of use who know that in 2007 a trailer was released, and I for one was VERY excited. But then I remembered they they had a version that they where working on in 2001 and that version was canned. I did a search to find the consensus of what other people thought, and found that there was a earlier version that was canned that was in 1998. Now the 1998 version looked like a meh IMO, but the 2001 version looked pretty fucking sweet. I remember back in the day people where raving about the 2001 version. But yea, I am here to talk about what the fuck is going on with this whole thing, or at least what I think is going on.

Now as if you guys/ladies have been keeping up with things on gaming blogs and what not like I have this is whats been going on. 3drealms was like, "it's done when it's done" or some shit. Which I guess is understandable considering okay yea I guess they are trying to make a great game. But all of a sudden a few weeks ago, 3drealms posted on their blog page a goodbye post, which I am guessing means 3drealms has now shutdown as a dev studio due to funding issues. Now seeing that there is now a bunch of distraught fans who where expecting the game Duke Nukem Forever to be released. I for one was like wow, that's really messed up but whatever, they canned previous builds in the past.

But wait the plot thickens, now Take Two who I guess was in a agreement to release the game when it was finished is now suing the devs at 3drealms because they gave them 12million to finally complete Duke Nukem Forever. Now 3drealms is responding back that they never received one penny of the 12million. I believe Take Two is also demanding the source code for the game, I guess to finally push it out to people who are waiting for it and get the money back that they supposedly gave to 3drealms.

Alot of people are thinking no work was done at all on the game, and that 3drealms was just goofing off all the time. I for one don't think that and have evidence that shows they did some work, in fact as far as I can tell the game looked pretty much finished. But I don't know as I am not a tester or affiliated with 3drealms or what have you.

here is my evidence...

My final thoughts are, that I think there is at least a partially complete or near complete product floating around somewhere being worked on, or was being worked on. Do I think that it will be released? I speculate that it is highly conceivable that the game will be released. Why do I think that? Well one way or another a partial product has been made at least. If 3drealms does not/will not/doesn't want to finish it or just push it out, then Take Two will probably end up winning the law suit against them and get the source code and finish it and or release it and get the money that they sunk into the project back. You can also take into consideration that just before 3drealms closure, the parent company Apogee that was closed up until recently has just reopened. So it's also conceivable that Duke Nukem Forever gets moved over to Apogee and possibly finished/released by Apogee/Take Two.

So one way or the other, I think Duke Nukem Forever is going to be released as soon as the dust settles off of all this mess. Maybe it will be a awesome game that was worth the 12 year wait, or maybe it wont. But if it comes ill defiantly check it out. Either way... I am not holding my breath...

Yea yea yea, I know I haven't contributed to my blog... It's been several things, I've been pretty busy with handling affairs in my offline life... Like looking for work and whatnot and stuff... Also when I do have free time I am usually chilling with my friends or what ever. And times when I could I didn't feel up to it. But anyways here is some content RWAR! A blurry picture of Sonic CD for the Sega CD Sega Genesis add-on!!! Muhahahahaha!

Anyways I have real future content planned. I plan on finally getting around to reviewing a Mega Cart v1 that I have. I also have planned reviewing of various classic video games and what not, not all Sega... And I plan on having some other reviews of non-Sega stuff, including my unicomp keyboard, pictured behind the Sonic CD (trust me where I will be going with it, it will be good). And a review of a failed product, the Logitech Ifeel mouse. Should be good, I just need to have two things, free time, and get off my ass and do the reviews.

Well always hope everyone has been good, and plz remember to keep your speakers in proper placement, as if you don't you are supporting TERRORISM! As what the Sonic CD manual said to me... Or at least I think it said that to me...

According to Game Informer, the Conduit will feature a customizable HUD. Like say if you are use to seeing the radar, ammo count, health, etc, in certain places on other games and absolutely must have it like other games, then you will be happy with this feature (also apparently you can change the transparency of objects on the HUD as well). Although, I don't think I will personally change the HUD from what is already set by default. It is still cool that the developer, High Voltage Software wants to give us the choice to change things. On top of the flexibility of the HUD, they wanted to give flexibility to the controls as well. Everything from turning speed to cursor dead spots can be customized. There main priority is to make a game that is fully utilizes the Wii to the max, whether it be the Wii's unique controls or graphics power. I just hope this game turns out as great as it is seemingly going to turn out.

I was just watching random videos on youtube when I stumbled on this gem that I had to share. Basically PITG001 on youtube took made Lupin III intro in the theme of MGS. I think this video is awesome, whats even more awesome is the fact that PITG001 created it with nothing more then EasyToon and MS-Paint...

My props goto PITG001, for this wonderful video!

I just got around to playing this. I found it to be very fun and addicting. It seems to combine GTA IV, with classic top down GTA's (such as GTA, GTA2, GTA london '69), DrugWars (such one that I believe everyone has played on their TI-83+ in high school at least once), and assortment of mini games for all around fun. Now about the mini-games... I actually hate them, I hate those mini-game compilations for the Wii or DS... I think they are a waste of space. But, GTA:CW on the other hand does mini-games in such a way that I actually like it. Like say for instance you are getting into a car and you have to hot-wire it to get it to start, the mini game would be to hot-wire the car before the car alarm goes off. I guess it wasn't me hating mini-games, but the execution of mini-games. I haven't played though the whole thing yet, but so far I am very much impressed with the game play. I would recommend it if you liked any of the top down GTA's of old.

I've been pretty much excited about this game ever since the basic concept of it was announced. If you have been waiting for a FPS for the Wii that caters to hard-core gamers, you should be excited about it to. From what I've seen, this isnt some random shyte shovelware game for the wii... They have been paying attention to graphics and textures (this will most likely meet or excede Super Mario Galaxy in terms of graphics), and getting gameplay right. This game will feature a online multiplayer mode and single player story line. I am unsure as of yet if their will be local multiplayer. I can't wait till it gets released in June, I might just preorder it (I usually only preorder games that come out in a series that I've known to like or like stuff from the person who imagined the game, like MGS4 or stuff that Hideo Kojima had a hand in). But yea, look forward to this game when it comes out, I don't think this game will disapoint....

I don't know if its as fast as the previous car I posted about, but the Th!nk Frost certainly looks fast. It also looks like what batman would drive if he was in the arctic or if Gotham city had a terrible blizzard, just paint it black and add batfins....

The cracks in the surface of the car hide a lighting system and the rear has massive fans for adjusting the temperature of the interior and electric engine. It also has sensors that provide detailed information about weather conditions to the cockpit's screens. Oh yea, and check out the treads!
